General Description

The MM88C30 is a dual Differential Line Driver that also performs the dual four-input NAND or dual four-input AND function. The absence of a clamp diode to VCC in the input protection circuitry of the MM88C30 allows a CMOS user to interface systems operating at different voltage levels. Thus, a CMOS digital signal source can operate at a VCC voltage greater than the VCC voltage of the MM88C30 Line Driver. The Differential output of the MM88C30 eliminates ground-loop errors.

The MM88C29 is a non-inverting single-wire transmission Line Driver. Since the output ON resistance is a low 20Ω typ., the device can be used to drive lamps, relays, solenoids, and clock Lines, besides driving data Lines.

DESCRIPTION
The DRV1101 is fixed gain Differential Line Driver designed for very low distortion operation when driving DSL Line transformers. It is designed for use as the upstream Line Driver for ADSL G.Lite, and as both upstream and downstream Line Drivers in CAP systems. The SN75159 dual Differential Line Driver with 3-state outputs is designed to provide all the features of the SN75158 Line Driver with the added feature of Driver output controls. There is an individual control for each Driver. When the output control is low, the associated outputs are in a high-impedance state and the outputs can neither drive nor load the bus. This permits many devices to be connected together on the same transmission Line for party-Line applications.

The SN75159 is characterized for operation from 0°C to 70°C.
