The NCP103x family incorporates in a single IC all the active style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">power, control logic and protection circuitry required to implement, with style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">minimal external components, several switching regulator applications, style="font-size:14px">style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family:psowsthelvblpsb">style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family:psowsthelvblpsb">style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family:psowsthelvblpsb">style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family:psowsthelvblpsb">style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">such as a secondary side bias supply or a low power dc−dc converter.
style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size:10pt">This controller family is ideally suited for 48 V telecom, 42 V automotive style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size:10pt">and 12 V input applications. The NCP103x can be configured in any style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size:10pt">single−ended topology such as forward or flyback. The NCP1030 is style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size:10pt">targeted for applications requiring up to 3 W, and the NCP1031 is style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size:10pt">targeted for applications requiring up to 6 W.
