Murata Power Solutions’ TMP Models are fully potted, 25-40 Watt, Triple-output DC/DC Converters designed to meet UL 60950-1 and EN60950-1 safety standards. The TMP’s higher effi ciencies and thermally conductive potting compound enable these devices to achieve higher operating temperatures without derating. The 2" x 3" TMP "footprint" conforms to the standard pinout and pin geometries of most 3" x 3" devices (a 33% space savings) while delivering 60% more power (40W vs. 25W).



Applicable to a wide range of telecom, computer and other OEM applications, TMP Model DC/DC’s offer +5V and ±12V or +5V and ±15V outputs. They operate from four different input voltage ranges with total available output power being a function of the selected range. "Q12" models operate from 10-36V and deliver 25W. "Q48" models operate from 18-75V and deliver 30W. For "D24" and "D48" models, the input ranges and output powers are 18-36V at 35W and 36-75V at 40W, respectively.



TMP's employ corrosion-resistant metal cases with plastic headers. Heat-generating ransformer cores and power semiconductors are mounted to the cases, which have threaded inserts for add-on heat sinks. All devices feature input pi fi lters, input overvoltage shutdown, output overvoltage protection, output current limiting, and thermal shutdown.

DESCRIPTION

The LTC®3555 family are highly integrated USB compatible power management and battery charger ICs for Li-Ion/Polymer battery applications. They include a high effi ciency current limited switching PowerPath manager with automatic load prioritization, a battery charger, an ideal diode and three general purpose synchronous step-down switching regulators.

The LTC3555 family limits input current to either 100mA or 500mA for USB applications or 1A for adapter-powered applications. Unlike linear chargers, the LTC3555 family’s switching architecture transmits nearly all of the power avail able from the USB port to the load with minimal loss and heat which eases thermal constraints in small spaces.

DESCRIPTION

The LTM®4602 is a complete 6A DC/DC step down power supply. Included in the package are the switching control ler, power FETs, inductor, and all support components. Operating over an input voltage range of 4.5V to 20V, the LTM4602 supports an output voltage range of 0.6V to 5V, set by a single resistor. This high efficiency design delivers 6A continuous current (8A peak), needing no heat sinks or airfl ow to meet power specifications.
