General Description
ML1001 static LCD COG (chip on glass) driver is 40 segments LCD driver with gold bump. It can be cascaded to form a single piece of 80 or 120 segments LCD drivers. It targets at custom TN LCD COG Module product which requires the best quality of TN LCD technology. With the use of ML1001 series driver, it offers the best contrast, the widest viewing angle, the widest range of operating voltage and the widest range of operating temperature when compared to the multiplex method.
Our ML1001 includes an internal 32kHz oscillator, a 40-bit shift register, a 40-bit data register, a 16-bit segment driver, a 24-bit segment driver, two common drivers, a blink control circuit, a power-up reset circuit and a frequency divider which offer the necessary clock signals for Blink control, segment & common driver circuit.
Through the DIN pin, the display data is serially shifted into the 40-bit shift register at the rising edge of DCLK signal. The display data, which is going to be displayed on the attached LCD, is then stored in the 40-bit data register at the rising edge of the LOAD signal.
Other features like blinking of the display data by the BEN and BCLK, disable the internal oscillator by the OEN, input an external clock signal to the FIN, and enable or disable the segment and common driver by the SEN1, SEN2, CEN1A and CEN1B, are included.

Description
The V6118 is a universal low multiplex LCD driver. The version V6118 2 drives two ways multiplex (two blackplanes) LCD, the version V6118 4, four way multiplex LCD , and the V6118 8, eight way multiplex LCD. The display refresh is handled on chip via a 40 x 8 bit RAM which holds the LCD content driven by the driver. LCD pixels (or segments) are addressed on a one to one basis with the 40 x 8 bit RAM (a set bit corresponds to an activated LCD pixel). The V6118 has very low dynamic current consumption , 150 µA max., making it particularly attractive for portable and battery powered applications.

General Description
The MAX3325 integrates a two-transmitter, two-receiver RS-232 transceiver with an LCD supply plus temperature-compensated contrast control. It is intended for small 3V instruments requiring a 5V supply for either logic or an LCD display, an adjustable bias signal for contrast, LCD temperature compensation, and an  RS-232 interface for serial communications.
The 5V supply is a regulated charge pump followed by a low-dropout (LDO) linear regulator capable of supplying 11mA for the 5V LCD power.
The MAX3325 has an internal 6-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) providing 64 contrast levels, plus an internal temperature sensor that compensates the LCD’s contrast for changes in ambient temperature. The LCD contrast can be designed for any voltage range from -5V to +2V.
The MAX3325’s 250kbps RS-232 transceiver meets all EIA-232E specifications with input voltages from +3.0V to +3.6V. Both the RS-232 section and the LCD supply circuitry can be independently placed in shutdown, tailoring power consumption for battery-powered equipment. The MAX3325 is available in 28-pin SSOP and narrow DIP packages.
