The audio input format for each audio group is configured using the AMA[1:0] (group 1
channels 1 and 2/Stereo Pair A), AMB[1:0] (group 1 channels 3 and 4/Stereo Pair B),
AMC[1:0] (group 2 channels 5 and 6/Stereo Pair C), and AMD[1:0] (group 2 channels 7
and 8/Stereo Pair D) host interface registers. The default audio mode is I2S input. For
serial input formats, MSB first is default, and LSB first is available via the LSB_FIRSTx bit
in the host interface.
NOTE: Since the audio clocks are common to all channels within one group, all channels
in each group of four must be the same format. However there is no restriction on the
format of different channels in one group when audio is in AES/EBU format. Also, the
audio format of each group may be different.

4.7.17.1 AES/EBU Mode
In AES/EBU input mode, the audio sample bit rate of 64fs (3.072MHz) is effectively
doubled by the bi-phase mark encoding, resulting in an effective input data rate at 128fs
(6.144MHz). The AES/EBU sub-frame formatting is shown in Figure 4-19 below.
