How to configure the I/O ports
To configure the I/O ports, use the information in
Table 3 and Table 4 and the Port Bit Configuration
Table in the I/O Ports Chapter on page 81.
I/O note = The hardware characteristics fixed for
each port line in Table 3.
All I/O inputs have Schmitt trigger fixed by hard-
ware so selecting CMOS or TTL input by software
has no effect, the input will always be Schmitt Trig-
ger. In particular, the Schmitt Triggers present on
the P5[7:2] pins have a standard hysteresis
whereas the remaining pins have Schmitt Triggers
with High Hysteresis (refer to Electrical Specifica-
tions).
Alternate Functions (AF) = More than one AF
cannot be assigned to an external pin at the same
time:
